It suddenly struck me last night that I needed to look on your journal. Must have been Betty. (Maybe it was the trollees.) Guess she needed me to see you were well and doing fine.
And might I say that owing to all the still touring bands and acting actors, that the 60s ain’t bad, either! I was 66 last Friday, commemorating your grandmother’s life.

In the last year, I have posted stories to some acclaim and learned that standing on your own two feet is the best thing to do.

I do not have a new card partner, I write instead, but Betty would be happy to know that I’m sitting and watching TV. I have even discovered a new puzzle I like, besides crossword… and I dedicated part 3 of the opening trilogy of my AU series to her for believing in me. (It is currently being beta’d.)

Have gotten into reading autobiographies. Never liked them, I like my history in novelization, thank you. Then I realized that the people I’m reading about are basically my age…I KNOW those places, times, fashions and feelings.

I have just recently (like this month) reconnected with several people from the 60s and 70s that I hung with and they are encouraging me to write my own bio. I’ll start with the bands I’ve worked with, posting on the journal (see Deff Leppard) and check the reactions.

But music will always be my life. I’m glad you reconnected with it. It will get you through anything. (I gave up noodling with the guitar of my teens and twenties last century.) It will TAKE you through many highs and lows, and it will SEE you through many highs and lows.

    Rock on, sister friend!

    luv and God bless,
    miss josh
